Sanibel Island Engagement Photographer | Derek + Paige | A Surprise Proposal on Sanibel Island

POV: When you shoot a family session and a surprise proposal happens!
I don't photograph families often anymore but this was too precious not to share. Paige hired me to take some family photos while they were vacationing at the Sundial Beach Resort on Sanibel Island. I arrived and met them and their adorable little boy and started shooting away. While they were snuggled on the blanket I soon realized while looking through my viewfinder what was about to go down. Derek seized the perfect opportunity to ask Paige to marry him! No one, not even me, had any idea that Derek was gonna pop the question! Paige was completely taken by surprise as you will see in her adorable reaction. I admit I got a little teary eyed.
It was such a sweet and unforgettable moment and I'm so happy I was there to document it!
Paige said YES, by the way!
