Amy & Adam Tie the Knot : A Fort Myers Wedding at Parkway Baptist Church

First Christian Church is where Amy and Adam's love story began to take shape. It all started about two years ago when Adam, with a charming smile and a friendly invitation, approached Amy at the church. He asked her to join the young adult group, but Amy, being swamped with teaching, tutoring, and coaching, couldn't make it. So, their paths diverged for a while.

But hey, fate works in mysterious ways, right? Fast forward a year later, and guess who crossed paths again? Yep, Amy and Adam. This time, Adam managed to convince Amy to join him and their church buddies for dinner at Olive Garden. And guess what? They hit it off like two peas in a pod.

Their first date was a real icebreaker – literally. They met up at Hertz Arena for some public skating, and Amy was surprised to learn that Adam had never skated before. But he held his own, and they had a blast. And just like that, their adventures began.

For the next ten months, they were inseparable. From trying out new restaurants to kayaking and biking, they were living life to the fullest. But let's not forget the cozy nights in, watching movies and catching up on much-needed z's after a hectic week.

When Adam popped the question, it was anything but flashy. No big spectacle, just a sweet moment at Amy's family condo after a Mexican dinner and a movie. Classic Adam.

As they look ahead to their future, they have big dreams – buying a house, being smart with money, starting a family and visiting the American west. And through it all, they promise to keep God at the center of their relationship.

Their wedding day was a beautiful reflection of the two of them - laid back, calm and casual with family and God at their sides. Amy was most excited about strutting down the aisle in her dream dress, while Adam couldn’t wait to whisk her away as his wife. Adorable, right?
